No matter what the season, it’s important to our team to find ways that we can be charitable of our time and resources whenever and wherever there is a need. While it can be easy to get wrapped up in the joyousness of the holiday season with all the fun activities and celebrations this time of year brings, we would be remiss if we did not come together to serve our community when there are folks who will go hungry or are without a warm place to stay during the holidays. 

This December, GYL was excited to collect and donate a wide variety of groceries, non-perishable, and household items to the Westport Connecticut Gillespie Center Food Pantry. This program works in partnership with Homes with Hope Inc., another Westport-based organization that is dedicated to preventing homelessness in Fairfield County. These donations help to benefit the organization’s resident clients, those at risk of homelessness and others in need within the community. 

GYL is grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the wonderful efforts of these local organizations.
