For the fourth consecutive year, GYL Financial Synergies, LLC is proud to have been the Presenting Sponsor for the “2018 Hartford Run for Babies 5k” to benefit the March of Dimes. The annual run held at Rentschler Field has become a bit of a tradition as GYL has been a presenting sponsor since the event’s inaugural year of 2015. The Hartford 5k Run for Babies was immediately followed by its sister event, the 5k Walk for Babies. Once again, the public and local business community were out in force and the event raised more than $400,000 to help the March of Dimes in its fight for the health of all moms and babies. Despite the weather, spirits were high as GYL team members, their families, and hundreds of supporters braved the Sunday morning’s April showers to participate in this amazing event. GYL’s CEO Gerry Goldberg, addressed the crowd prior to the start of the race. At race end, Gerry was all smiles as GYL’s Comptroller Chick Marks took first place in his age group while Gerry’s own daughter Hannah took the honors in her age group.

Gerry summed up GYL’s commitment to the local community and children’s charities perfectly when he was featured on Fox 61 news – “It is a great way to be supportive of such an important cause to help to prevent birth defects, and to help with family wellness.”
