The GYL Team in Parsippany Supports the Interfaith Food Pantry Network

December 21, 2021

Interfaith Food Pantry Network (IFP) provides food, nutrition education, and other vital resources to residents in need in Morris County, New Jersey. IFP’s mission is tremendously important to the community, and to support that mission, GYL’s Parsippany team participated in this year’s “CANstruction Food Drive,” held in Morris Plains.

CANstruction is part food drive, part team-building exercise, and part social media awareness campaign. The Parsippany team (from left to right: Deborah Molan, Gary Herz, David Feldman, Mary Ann Marchese, Michael Green, and Bernice Ching) collected shelf-stable foods to contribute to the IFP—but before they delivered their donation, the team worked together to build a creative structure out of the items. The result was quite impressive:

The items collected by the Parsippany office will help keep IFP well-stocked and ensure the organization can continue to provide help to individuals and families in need in Morris County. We are proud of our Parsippany team for supporting a great charitable organization! If you’re interested in helping, there is still a need for canned soups and other non-perishable items.
