The aging process comes with a number of changes, which can be physical and emotional, and these changes can be intimidating. One of the biggest fears related to aging is a loss of independence: being unable to do the things we used to do.1 Unfortunately, these changes are often beyond our control, but there are aspects of aging that we can control: how we prepare for these changes, and how we adapt and respond to them.
On Monday, October 26th at 12:00 PM ET, we are hosting a webinar where we will be joined by Aging Life Care Professional Joan Garbow and Michael J. Smith, Founder & CEO of LiveWell Dementia Specialists. Joan and Michael will discuss navigating the aging process and how a resilient mindset can help you maintain a good quality of life in your golden years. Specifically, we will cover:
-
- Ways to stay healthy and maintain your quality of life as you age
- The practical considerations that should be part of your plan
- How to adapt to the physical and emotional changes that come with aging
- The importance of having a plan if your physical or mental health suddenly decline
